Procurement & Purchasing: Source and purchase necessary goods and supplies for the organization, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Trust & Transparency: Must purchase and document purchased items and costs accurately.
Vendor Management: Identify and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and service agreements for materials, equipment, and services.
Invoice Processing: Convert local invoices into the organization’s template and ensure proper documentation for financial tracking.
Stock & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory, ensuring items are properly coded, labeled, and stored.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee the movement and distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and proper handling.
Office & Equipment Maintenance: Monitor office supplies and other essential resources, restocking them as needed.
Asset Tracking: Keep a detailed log of organizational assets, tracking their condition and ensuring timely replacements or repairs.
When in the field, watch for trees, shovels and other equipment, make sure they are not stolen and are returned to the office exactly as before.
Budget & Cost Control: Work closely with the Finance Officer to ensure procurement stays within budgetary limits and follows financial policies.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all purchases and logistics operations comply with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Monthly Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed monthly logistics and procurement reports to the Finance Officer, summarizing purchases, stock levels, and future needs.
Event Logistics Management: Plan and oversee logistical aspects of organizational events, including venue setup, transportation, materials procurement, and equipment arrangement. Ensure all necessary supplies and resources are available and coordinate with vendors and teams for smooth event execution.Requirements:Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
Excellent knowledge in English, Arabic and Kurdish languages, spoken and written.
Past experience in buying and selling and basic accounting skills is required.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 2 years of work experience is required. Past work with NGOs is a plus.
Must have his own care and a resident of Duhok city. Fuel costs will be compensated.
