Job Title: Online Advocacy Campaign Materials Development Consultant
Contract Duration: ONE Month
Brief description of the organization
Al-Mesalla.ORG for Human Resources Development is a non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization registered with both the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Iraqi Central Government. Since 2004, Al-Mesalla has been actively operating in Iraq, focusing on civil society empowerment, women’s rights, livelihoods, peace, and justice
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- Designing 10 advocacy messages in Arabic and English that focuses on topics including:
- Dealing with the past
- Memorialization
- Compensation for victims of conflict
- justice and inclusivity in post-conflict areas.
- Tailored for use in printed materials, public events, and online campaigns.
2- Developing 4 digital advocacy campaigns (e-campaigns), each including:
- A campaign concept and goal
- Social media content (texts, hashtags, visuals guidance)
- Suggested timeline and frequency of posts
- Target audience and engagement strategy
- Integration of existing project findings and community narratives
- Participating in brainstorming and feedback sessions with Al-Mesalla’s team to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Delivering final materials in editable formats (e.g., Word, Canva links, etc.) along with a brief documentation/report.
Deliverables:
- 10 finalized advocacy messages (Arabic; optional English translation)
- 4 fully developed e-campaign packages
- Summary report explaining the messaging rationale, engagement plan, and suggested dissemination strategy
Qualifications:
- A university degree, preferably in a related field, is required.
- Working experience with local counterparts (CSOs, local NGOs, and others) or managing consortiums of NGOs.
- Past experiences in digital designing and e-campaigns.
- Knowledge of standards and literature in human rights
- Team working skills and proactive attitude
- Excellent computer literacy skills Desirable requirements.
- Written and spoken Arabic is required, English language is an added advantage.
