Description:
Responsibilities:
Manage all engineering operations within the pharmaceutical facility, ensuring optimal performance of equipment and infrastructure.
Lead maintenance planning, facility upgrades, and technical troubleshooting to support uninterrupted production.
Supervise engineering teams and coordinate cross-departmental technical support, especially in production and quality operations.
Oversee compliance with local Iraqi regulations and international standards including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Develop and manage engineering project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
Ensure proper documentation of engineering processes, equipment logs, and SOPs.
Identify and implement technical improvements for increased operational efficiency and reduced downtime.
Lead audits and inspections related to engineering systems and safety compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
8 to 15 years of engineering management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical production systems, utilities, and equipment.
Proven leadership skills in managing engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements in Iraq and international standards.
Fluency in English required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
Must be willing to work 6 days per week in Iraq.
Preference for Iraqi nationals, though other nationalities will be considered.
Open to both local and international candidates.
