Position Title: Receptionist
Location: Erbil, Iraq
Duration: Full-time
Role Overview:
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in/check-out process. You will manage front desk operations, handle guest inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to create a positive and memorable experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with professionalism and hospitality.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using the hotel’s PMS system.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Handle guest complaints or requests, providing quick resolutions or escalating as needed.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Provide information about facilities, services, and local attractions.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, or in a customer-facing hospitality role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Kurdish, Arabic, and English.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming attitude at all times.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and MS Office.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and deliver excellent service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
