About the Job:
The Site Engineer - Basra is responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring the project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams, maintaining quality standards, resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to successfully deliver construction projects.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and execution of site project plans.
- Monitor budgets and timelines, addressing risks or delays proactively.
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, suppliers, and teams.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on-site.
- Keep detailed records and report progress to the Project Manager.
- Ensure stakeholder communication and respond to any site concerns.
- Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform any additional tasks related to site engineering as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in site supervision or project engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and engineering principles.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
