Tasks and Duties

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
Research for new products or vendors to reduce costs, improve quality, and delivery time.
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Preparing procurement reports.
Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Develop and maintain a qualified list of vendors who have favorable prices, terms, quality, delivery, and technical services.
conduct meetings, prepare, and present reports, and provide information to identify purchasing requirements, establish business plans and performance objectives, and report performance against plan and business objectives.
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement, with a minimum of 10 years, with a proven record in purchasing, is a must.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
Familiarity with industry-specific procurement requirements.
Data analysis and reporting skills.
Excellent in using Microsoft Office, and CRM & SAP experience is a must.
Excellent in English (Reading, writing, and listening).
