Brief description of the organization:
Al-Mesalla.ORG for Human Resources Development is a non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization registered with both the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Iraqi Central Government. Since 2004, Al-Mesalla has been actively operating in Iraq, focusing on civil society empowerment, women’s rights, livelihoods, peace, and justice.
BACKGROUND:
The Livelihoods Assistant supports the overall implementation of program activities, ensuring smooth coordination, accurate documentation, and timely reporting. The role involves assisting program staff in administrative, logistical, and operational tasks, contributing to the effective delivery of project objectives.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Livelihoods Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to program teams, facilitating communication, coordinating logistics, and assisting in the monitoring and documentation of program activities.
Location of Work: (Al Anbar -Ramadi ).
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the program team in organizing workshops, training, and field activities.
- Assist in the preparation and management of documentation, reports, and beneficiary records.
- Coordinate logistics for program events, including venue arrangements, transportation, and materials.
- Support the collection, entry, and maintenance of program data in relevant systems.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and field visits for program staff.
- Facilitate communication between program staff, beneficiaries, and local stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, attendance sheets, and activity documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in administrative or project support roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Fluent in Arabic; good command of English is an advantage.
- Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and professional conduct.
Key Working Relationships:
- Reports to: Program Manager / Senior Officer
- Works closely with: Program Assistants, MEAL Officers, Trainers, and Field Staff

Staff are expected to adhere to organizational policies, standards of conduct, and ethical guidelines.
SPECIFIC SECURITY SITUATION/HOUSING:
The role may require field visits in areas with fluctuating security conditions. Staff must follow all safety and security protocols.

All staff must maintain professional ethics, prevent abuse or exploitation, and protect participants’ rights.
