Key Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
- Monitor the implementation of the safe systems to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Production
- Supervise and manage the production operation lines (Board and Tiles) to ensure achievement of production plans.
- Supervise and manage the production operators, engineers… in addition to ensuring the implementation of the set policies and procedures.
- Follow-up and record of raw materials used in the production process in terms of quality and quantity required to achieve the required production target per shift.
- The delivery and receipt of the shift to another, and clarify all the actions that happened during the shift.
Training & Development
- Develop and carry out frequent job training & coaching activities for the production staff.
- Conduct classroom training for employees based on the training plan set by the HR operations department
Reporting
- Writing the shift report in detail, including all electrical, mechanical, or production breakdowns and stops, their causes, and the corrective actions that have been taken.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with 4 to 5 years of experience in Heavy industrial experience, like (Gypsum Board, Glass, Steel, Sugar, Paper, Ceramic, kilns)
- Previous Experience with operating systems (SCADA, PLC, …)
- Mechanical background.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP experience is a Must.
- Very good in English (written, reading, and speaking)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical – Production Section or Chemistry)
- QMS, Lean, Six Sigma/TPM programs are preferred.
