Summary
The Event & Sponsorship Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing successful events and sponsorships that align with our company’s marketing and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
– Event Planning and Execution:
- Develop event concepts and themes that resonate with the target audience and align with the company’s branding.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and on-site management.
– Sponsorship Acquisition and Management:
- Review and process internal and external sponsorship email to management for sponsorship confirmation.
- Identify and engage potential sponsors and partners, creating mutually beneficial sponsorship packages.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring deliverables are fulfilled and sponsors’ needs are met.
– Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective event execution.
- Optimize spending to achieve the best possible return on investment for events and sponsorships.
– Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event marketing plans and promotional materials.
- Utilize various marketing channels to drive event attendance and increase sponsor visibility.
– Attendee Experience and Engagement:
- Design event programs and activities that enhance attendee engagement and create memorable experiences.
- Collect feedback from attendees and sponsors to continuously improve future events.
– On-site Event Coordination:
- Oversee on-site event management, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any unforeseen issues.
- Supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure a seamless event experience.
– Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting:
- Analyze event outcomes and performance metrics to evaluate event success and ROI.
- Prepare post-event reports and insights to share with management.
– Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and event stakeholders.
- Foster ongoing partnerships and collaborations for future events.
- Represent the company in meetings related to events delegated to her/him.
– Industry and Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on event industry trends, best practices, and innovations.
- Incorporate new ideas and strategies into event planning and execution.
– Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards for events.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential event-related issues.
- Following up on previous projects or events that are accomplished and provide quarterly reports ensuring the availability of items provided.
– Ad hoc Projects:
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management. These may include system implementations, process changes, and other initiatives to drive company’s growth and efficiency.
- Any other tasks requested by the line manager or line of management.

- Excellent drafting and reporting skills in English, Arabic and Kurdish.
