Position Overview:
Are you passionate about information security and looking to kick-start your career? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Junior SOC Analysts. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level candidates to break into the information security field. You will be the first line of defense, responding to security incidents, analyzing threats, and working alongside an experienced security team to safeguard our organization.
No prior experience is necessary, but a strong interest in technology, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn are essential. We provide the training and guidance needed for you to grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to implement and manage security tools effectively.
- Investigate suspicious activities, with guidance, and take action to prevent threats.
- Support efforts to reduce downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Provide security services to different departments within the organization.
- Assist with monitoring SIEM alerts and investigating potential incidents.
- Collaborate with experienced team members to respond to real-time security threats.
- Gain experience in conducting in-depth analysis of threats and compromised systems.
- Develop skills in creating containment and recovery strategies for security incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information security, or a related field. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Skills (You will develop these with us):
- Basic knowledge or interest in network defense, ethical hacking, incident response, and computer forensics.
- Strong interest in learning how to operate different operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux).
- Curiosity about information security frameworks and security technologies.
- Willingness to develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to improve communication skills and work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (reading and writing) is a plus, but not mandatory.
