Overall Objective of the Job:
The Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the organization’s financial records and reporting by maintaining proper accounting practices, preparing financial statements, and supporting management with reliable financial insights for informed decision-making.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process payroll accurately and on time in compliance with company policies.
- Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic and operational business decisions.
- Utilize accounting software and systems to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in the Finance or Accounting field. (a must)
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
- Languages: Fluent in Kurdish (mandatory), Advanced proficiency in Arabic and English (minimum requirement)
- Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
