Job Identification
We are looking for a Supply Chain HSE Engineer who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring HSE management systems across the factory, ensuring compliance with EOSH regulations and organizational standards. The role will be part of our Supply Chain team located in Baghdad.
What We Except
- Develop the overall plan for the Supply Chain HSE management system. Make sure that all essential HSE Management Systems are implemented as per requirements across the factory and maintain effective monitoring/measuring of these management systems to gauge effectiveness, Regularly update management about the progress.
- Take priority measures to eliminate hazards at the source following job and workplace characteristics to make an assessment-based measurement. take necessary HSE measures to make recommendations including the opinion of an employee or their representatives and monitoring applications.
- Conduct/participate in the process of EOSH risk assessment involving employees and line management. Control the hazards with appropriate controls. Periodically update risk assessments.
- To plan periodic controls, maintenance, and measurements to be made in the workplace with respect to HSE. Ensure the inventory of correct personal protective equipment in the workplace. Maintaining correct levels and ensuring testing of these PPEs (if required) and sharing reports.
- Led and implemented all HSE projects including cultural programs(Hand in Hand 2.0, Cultural surveys, and action plans) in a factory. Maintain close.
- Provide technical expertise and support for plant departments, on regulatory compliance issues in Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Ensure that all operating equipment, tools, and plants meet EOSH standards. Plant and machinery in operation comply with safety standards.
- Conduct detailed investigation of all the accidents/incidents and near misses, prepare and follow-up action plans. Prepare detailed trends.
Qualifications
- HSE Regulations both local and global.
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Good Experience in the FMCG sector.
- English language is a must.
- Deep dive HSE experience in technically complex environments.
- Experience in a multinational company.
