Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our hotel's supply chain management, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of goods and materials.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders
- Inspect the physical condition, count, and measure all items upon receipt
- Complete daily receiving reports for various departments, including Food & Beverage and General items
- Maintain up-to-date files of receiving copies for all approved purchase orders
- Ensure all deliveries are received at the designated receiving area and properly documented
- Collaborate with store, accounts payable, and purchasing departments for smooth operations
- Assist in conducting regular inventories (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly) as needed
- Follow all local and corporate policies and procedures, including HACCP and hygiene standards
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages in received goods
- Stamp, date, and process invoices according to company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

- Physical ability to stand and walk constantly throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
