Project O`verview
This is a 1GW utility-scale solar power EPC project, including solar PV module installation, substation construction, and high-voltage transmission line works. The project adheres to stringent technical and quality standards, including ISO, IEC, and international electrical construction regulations. The execution environment is complex and requires a robust and effective quality management system.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Electrical, Civil, or Power System Engineering.
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC, including at least 5 years in a managerial role for EPC, power, or solar projects.
Proven experience in high-voltage and substation construction projects is highly desirable.
Familiar with quality system establishment and implementation for large EPC projects.
Professional Competencies
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC standards, and project-specific quality requirements.
Able to prepare and implement key quality documents, including:
PQMP (Project Quality Management Plan)
ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans)
NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
Familiar with the IR (Inspection Request) or RFI (Request for Inspection) process.
Capable of leading multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and coordinating with Clients, Third Parties, and Regulatory Authorities.
Proficient in computer use and quality management software/tools (e.g., Excel, PDF markup, templates, etc.).
Strong under pressure with excellent problem-solving and execution capabilities.
Age Requirement
Preferred age range: 40–50 years old, with mature experience and strong adaptability.
Standard Schedule:
One day off every Friday (weekly day off).
Preferred: Candidates who can accept the weekly Friday off schedule.
Alternative: If not acceptable, 25 days’ work / 5 days off rotation is also available.
The company provides daily transportation from Basra city center to the Ratawi project site.
