Job Description
As the first and last impression of the hotel, the Doorman plays a vital role in welcoming our guests with warmth and professionalism. You are responsible for greeting guests, opening doors, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a smooth and hospitable arrival and departure experience. You are not just a doorman — you are a brand ambassador of Mövenpick Hotel Al Zaytoon Baghdad.
- Greet all guests arriving at or leaving the hotel with a warm and courteous manner.
- Open doors, assist with luggage, and coordinate with the Bell Team for smooth service.
- Offer directions, general information, and assistance when required.
- Monitor hotel entrance to ensure safety and order at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front drive and entrance area.
- Assist in arranging transportation (taxis, shuttle service, valet, etc.).
- Ensure only authorized vehicles and persons enter the premises, in coordination with Security.
- Work closely with Front Office and Concierge to ensure seamless guest service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or Front Office environment is preferred.
- Polite, well-groomed, and physically fit to assist with luggage and guest mobility.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and basic English.
- Friendly personality with a high level of hospitality and guest service.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Familiarity with local area and hotel services is a plus.
