Job Description
As a Concierge at Mövenpick Hotel Al Zaytoon Baghdad, you will be the heartbeat of guest service and the face of local knowledge. You will assist guests by recommending activities, booking reservations, and offering insider tips to ensure unforgettable experiences – turning moments into lasting memories.
- Serve as an ambassador for our hotel, offering accurate information about our facilities, local attractions
- Manage and fulfill a variety of guest requests, including dining reservations, transportation arrangements, tour bookings, and special occasion planning
- Develop and maintain a network of service providers to efficiently coordinate guest requirements
- Ensure the availability and organization of informational materials such as brochures, city maps, and promotional items
- Create and update guest preference records to enhance personalized service
- Handle luggage, messages, parcels, and other items with efficiency and care
- Respond promptly and positively to guest inquiries, always striving to exceed expectations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Stay updated on hotel promotions, local events, and cultural activities
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to departmental standard operating procedures
- Demonstrate absolute integrity and trustworthiness in all interactions with guests and team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Front Office or Concierge .
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English (additional languages are a plus).
- High level of professionalism, hospitality, and guest-focused service.
- Knowledge of local area attractions, culture, and transportation.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Opera or other hotel property management systems is preferred.
