- Responsibilities:
- Lead demand planning efforts for pharmaceutical products across Iraq, ensuring accurate forecasting aligned with market demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, and production, to balance demand and supply.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy using historical data, market intelligence, and analytical tools.
- Manage inventory across multiple locations, minimizing shortages and overstock situations.
- Facilitate and lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment across business functions.
- Monitor and adapt demand plans based on real-time sales trends and public health needs.
- Generate periodic reports on demand trends, inventory performance, and forecast accuracy.
- Engage in strategic planning discussions to align demand forecasts with organizational goals.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in planning and demand management, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using demand planning or ERP systems (specific platforms not provided).
- Familiarity with the Iraqi healthcare and pharmaceutical market.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in Arabic and English preferred.
- Willing to work 6 days per week.
- Preference for Iraqi nationals, though qualified international candidates are welcome.
