At Eni, we are looking for a Mechanical Construction Supervisor within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for supervising contractors in all mechanical (static and rotating) activities related to the project.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and timely project completion by demonstrating strong management skills, adhering to policies and procedures and identifying improvements where needed.
- Communicate effectively, provide clear instructions and share knowledge efficiently. Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to optimize construction interfaces and support successful project delivery.
- Understand the importance of planning. Monitor daily progress against the plan and take corrective actions as needed.
- Follow one-week look-ahead plans for mechanical works in close coordination with commissioning, completions, planning and other departments.
- Ensure all work complies with standards and specifications. Interpret and address deviations from civil procedures to maintain alignment with approved plans.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment by adhering to Iraqi regulations, Eni’s HSE Policy and Safety Management Systems.
Skills And Experience Required
- B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing mechanical (static and rotating) construction activities in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
- Competent in reading and interpreting specifications, drawings and other discipline-related project documentation.
- Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with QA/QC, HSE procedures, and all company regulations.
- Good command of Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
