About The Role
An NMC is a monitoring center connected to other network components such as MSCs and BSCs via data network links. In the NMC, staff are presented with information about the network’s status and can monitor and control a variety of system parameters. Depending on the network size, there may be one or several NMCs within a network.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Monitoring alarms in Huawei system (U2020+Neteco)in (BGBSC30,31,32,33+BGHRNC30,31) Monitoring alarms in Ericsson system (OSS+ENM) in (BGBSC6,7+BGHRNC2)
- Monitoring alarms in BSS alarms
- Monitoring alarms in packet core system
- Keep monitoring and follow up the MOP activity
- Preparing daily report for deactivated Huawei cells
- Preparing health check report & checking the external & internal alarms with FM team
- Checking the sites for acceptance new sites
- Follow up the huge outage and getting the feedback
- Alerting very fast response for new alarms appeared in sites of CI and CII regions by using T.T system
- Preparing daily reports about the outage and alarms.
- preparing FMX report & sending long outage email
- support FLM teams to clears the alarms.
- Highlight and escalate huge outage for management.
- Sending emails to management each four hours to highlights the outages.
Education / Personal Qualification:
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
- 2 years’ Operations & Maintenance (O&M) experience for a small plant, overseas and/or Five (5) years’ verifiable experience managing Projects With Field Handwork Experience .
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting Operations & Maintenance (O&M) responsibilities at an overseas facility.
- Experience providing excellent customer services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
- Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
- Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of college degree.
- Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.
