MILE Organization for Environmental Protection, a local non-governmental organization working in the fields of environmental protection, climate change, and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE), is seeking to recruit:
Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) Trainer – Part-Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct EORE awareness sessions for Syrian refugees in Domiz Camp, Duhok Governorate.
- Commit to working 3 days per week, 4 hours per day.
- Provide periodic reports on activities, attendance, and engagement.
- Coordinate with the project team and EORE supervisor to ensure message quality and safe implementation.
- Adhere to the organization’s Code of Conduct and professional safety standards.
- Respect beneficiaries’ privacy and refrain from sharing data or photos without official approval.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of prior experience in awareness activities, specifically in EORE.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups (children, youth, women).
- Commitment to fieldwork and camp conditions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Work Location:
Domiz Camp – Duhok Governorate.
(The organization provides transportation from Duhok to the camp.)
