Position Summary:
The Drill Water Coordinator reports to the Drilling Supervisor concerning his rig site activities. For Drilling Department requirements, he reports to the Senior Drilling Engineer.
The Drill Water Coordinator assists the Drilling Supervisor in the water supply for the drilling, completion, stimulation and testing operations.
This position enables employee to obtain operational experience prior to taking up the other positions in the company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the water supply for the drilling, completion, stimulation and testing operations (coordinate water delivery to the site and water transfer between the pits and tanks as per Drilling Supervisor request).
- Operate HKN water pumps to transfer water between the pits and tanks.
- Work closely with all the contractor’s personnel to ensure a safe and an efficient operation during water delivery and water transfer.
- Track daily water delivery to the location.
- Make recommendations to improve water supply for the drilling, completion, stimulation and testing operations.
Minimum Qualification:
- The previous working experience in Oil Industry in similar technical position (Minimum 1 year)
- High School diploma.
- Competent with basic professional computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Good written, spoken communication and presentation skills are required.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with field personnel and vendors.
- Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously.
