Purpose of the job: Responsible to handle the Low Current Systems designing and inject new up to date technology solution as per design team leader and department manager instructions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support in the engineering (Solution, Design, BoQ,) (Access Control and Time Attendance, EMS, Security Systems, Automation, Classical control, etc..).
- Discuss/elaborate with implementation team regarding the implementation phase.
- Support in gathering required information for incoming projects and systems to start preparing high quality designs (High Level Design and Low-Level Design) as per the project time line.
- Researches for new technologies and modern systems and updating the team.
- Technical Review/modification on the desired designs.
- Programming strengths on multiple platforms.
- Professional Detailed Documentation for Systems Design.
- Interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
- Work independently as well as with a diverse team to develop advanced technology solution including modeling, estimation, advanced controls and optimization- Supports hardware, software and systems level verification and validation testing.
- Support sustaining and new systems development as per project requirements.
- Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned logics and/or systems and that is consistent with the High Standards.
- Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.
- Support design team to gain more skills.
- Responsible on the dedicated tasks to provide all schematic drawings, detailed drawings, BoQs, HLD and LLD.
- Develop solutions and technologies that will meet the business needs and objectives
- Other Duties as assigned by direct manager within scope of the workQualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Related to Engineering degree, Electrical, Electronic, Controls or any other relevant
- 3+ years of SCADA/controls experience.
- Very Good in English Language (written and oral).
- Knowledge in all LC Standard (BICSI, ITU-T, ANSI/TIA, EIA, ISO/IEC 11801, TIA, IEC, ITEL, NFPA, BS, AVIXA – CTD, EN54-24).
- Designing a conventional control system.
- Good Knowledge of BMS and Factory Automation
- Fast and Precise Troubleshooting
- Very good Knowledge of Low Current Systems.
