One of Toyota’s authorized dealers in Qadisiyah (Al-Diwaniyah) is looking for a Senior IT Specialist with below requirements:
Senior IT Support & Systems Administrator – Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees and leads the installation, configuration, and operational support of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and IT best practices.
- Develops and implements testing protocols to validate functionality, performance, and security compliance of new and existing computer systems.
- Leads the evaluation and maintenance of network servers and core IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex system issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions to minimize recurring incidents.
- Advises on strategic upgrades and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets, including compatibility assessments, vendor comparisons, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Designs and delivers training programs and documentation to upskill staff on advanced use of IT systems, tools, and security awareness.
- Manages and coordinates the troubleshooting of server-related issues, ensuring business continuity through proactive maintenance and rapid incident response.
- Supervises the support and maintenance of peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners), establishing standards and procedures for efficient issue resolution.
- Monitors and optimizes inventory levels of IT consumables and spare parts, aligning stock management with maintenance schedules and procurement policies.
- Ensures compliance with all IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements, updating documentation and leading internal audits as necessary.
- Maintains and updates technical documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and interconnectivity to support knowledge continuity and change management.
- Leads IT asset management processes, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
- Acts as a liaison with management, providing technical insight and recommendations for IT projects, policies, and strategic initiatives.
- Performs other high-level duties as assigned by Company leadership, contributing to the overall effectiveness and modernization of the IT environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in an IT support or system administration role.
- Experience in managing complex IT infrastructures in a business environment.
