Job Title: Team Leader – SAS
Location: Baghdad – Muthana Airport Road
Working hours: Night shift (4:00 pm-12:00 am)
About the job:
Team Leader leads and motivates a team of service advisors and technicians to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and efficient operations within the service department and is responsible for guiding his team, managing workflow, and fostering a positive work environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of service advisors and technicians to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Coordinate daily workflow within the service department, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor team performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries, complaints, or issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure smooth coordination and communication between service, sales, and parts departments.
- Maintain accurate records of team performance, service transactions, and customer interactions, utilizing dealership management software.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a customer-centric mindset among team members.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, service procedures, and industry trends to effectively advise customers and support team members.
- Uphold dealership policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Ensure completion of all tasks listed on vehicle cards and sign off on maintenance requests.
- Prepare and sign off on technician hour time on designated cards at the beginning and end of each job, documenting any non-productive time.
- Investigate all returned or unsatisfactory maintenance work and file a report for the direct supervisor.
- Submit all technical and service reports to the supervisor on a daily basis.
- Perform any additional tasks as requested by the direct supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in a related service field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position.
Languages: Arabic & English are required.
