One of our client, a leading fruit exporter from India, is looking for Import Logistics Coordinator based in Sulaymaniyah.
The Import Logistics Coordinator will support end-to-end import operations from planning to shipment execution. The role focuses on ensuring smooth coordination between local transporters, port/terminal authorities, documentation teams, and buyers to ensure timely and compliant export of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily export logistics activities including truck dispatch, cargo movement tracking, and shipment scheduling.
- Support preparation, verification, and submission of export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates, customs papers, etc.).
- Liaise with port officials, customs agents, shipping lines, and local transporters for smooth cargo clearance and vessel loading.
- Maintain records of shipments, costs, and delivery timelines in line with company processes.
- Ensure quality check of containers as per defined standards
- Provide daily operational updates to the central logistics team and escalate delays or bottlenecks.
- Support vendor and service provider coordination (transporters, clearing agents).
- Assist in tracking payments and documentation handovers between logistics and finance teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree (preferred: Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related).
- 2-5 years’ experience in logistics, export operations, or supply chain (internship/fresher experience acceptable).
- Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work under timelines.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and basic reporting.
Languages:
- Kurdish, Arabic, English preferred.
