About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of our entire infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime for all services.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and system alerts.
- Follow established protocols to document and respond to network issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting with guidance from Manager.
- Maintain accurate logs of network events and actions taken.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Learn and gradually take on more complex responsibilities as you develop.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent
- experience).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and NOC responsibilities.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work in shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to work on holidays and weekends as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
