Job Description:
The After-Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting customers after system installation by addressing technical issues, conducting system performance analysis, managing warranty processes, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires both technical expertise and a customer-focused mindset to ensure seamless post-installation service.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints related to solar system performance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including inverter errors, underperformance, and connectivity problems.
Conduct on-site inspections and repairs as needed to ensure optimal system functionality.
System Monitoring and Performance Analysis
Monitor system performance using remote monitoring tools and software.
Identify performance anomalies and take corrective action to maintain system efficiency.
Generate performance reports and provide detailed feedback to clients and internal teams.
Warranty and Claims Handling
Manage warranty claims for malfunctioning components such as inverters, panels, and batteries.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely replacements or repairs.
Maintain accurate records of warranty coverage and claim timelines.
Maintenance and Service Planning
Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks, including panel cleaning, inspection of electrical components, and system checks.
Maintain an organized service calendar and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
Recommend system upgrades or improvements based on performance data and client needs.
Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after system installation.
Educate customers on system operation, monitoring platforms, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Foster strong relationships through professional communication and timely support.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of service visits, technical findings, and resolutions.
Update CRM or service ticketing systems with relevant data and client interactions.
Provide feedback to the sales and installation teams to support continuous improvement in system design and deployment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar system maintenance, technical support, or commissioning.
Strong technical knowledge of solar components and system configurations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Willingness to conduct site visits and travel locally as needed.
