Role Summary:
A detail-focused architectural designer with exceptional skill in producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings and execution-ready details in short timeframes. This role supports design development through construction documentation and coordination.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop detailed construction and working drawings for architectural projects.
- Produce precise shop drawings, sections, and details necessary for execution.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy.
- Review and revise drawings based on site conditions, material updates, and contractor feedback.
- Deliver quick turnarounds on urgent technical drawings without compromising quality.
- Assist in resolving technical issues on-site and ensure smooth execution of architectural designs.
- Monitor site execution to maintain alignment with technical drawings and original intent.
- Lead and contribute to the creation of initial design concepts, sketches, and presentations.
- Ensure design solutions align with client requirements, project goals, building codes, and industry standards.
- Stay current with architectural trends, design technologies, and sustainable practices.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project managers to integrate and align architectural elements across disciplines.
- Participate in coordination meetings and resolve design-related conflicts.
- Apply innovative solutions to enhance the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of design work.
- Assist during the construction phase by responding to site queries, reviewing submittals, and ensuring design intent is maintained on-site.
- Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the design process.
- Modify/redesign existing building design
- Prepare detailed drawings and plans for execution
- Prepare new designs and concepts and drawings if required
- Resolve execution challenges at site after studying the case at a short time.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, technical detailing and office work
•Proven ability to produce high-quality construction and shop drawings under tight deadlines
•Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and detailing practices
•Proficiency in AutoCAD (or other architectural drawing software)
•Experience coordinating with structural, and site teams
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•High attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
