Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Erbil. This role involves supporting the bank’s departments and branches with both technical and business-related issues. The ideal candidate should have a background in banking systems, be a quick learner, and be ready to support ongoing and future projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical and business support to all bank departments and branches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues reported by staff.
- Support branches in tracking transactions and solving user or function-related problems.
- Use Linux (SSH) to access and manage systems for troubleshooting.
- Use database knowledge (such as SQL) to support data-related issues and tasks.
- Work with the ICSFS Core Banking System and assist with system-related functions.
- Stay available for on-call support, especially during critical operations or emergencies.
- Participate in different technical projects and adapt quickly to new tools or technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure smooth system operation.
- Maintain good documentation of issues and solutions for future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields
- Background in banking or financial systems.
- Experience working with Linux and using SSH.
- Basic understanding of databases and query languages.
- Familiarity with ICSFS Core Banking is a strong plus.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fast learner and able to work under pressure.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
