Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Purpose:
To support the execution of industrial infrastructure projects through detailed drafting, effective site supervision, and coordination with contractors. The Civil Engineer will translate technical sketches into AutoCAD designs, ensure quality standards on-site, and assist with timely project delivery in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert conceptual and freehand drawings into precise AutoCAD construction drawings.
- Supervise the execution of civil works across various industrial project sites.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved designs, timelines, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate daily with contractors, site workers, and procurement teams for a smooth workflow.
- Inspect site work and materials to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material requirement planning based on project scope.
- Report regularly to the Project Manager on project progress, site issues, and solutions.
- Recommend design improvements and resolve on-site construction challenges.
- Support documentation and compliance with HSE guidelines and internal procedures.
- Participate in site technical meetings and contribute engineering expertise to construction decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, must be of an industrial or infrastructure background.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce detailed construction drawings, is essential.
- Strong understanding of site supervision and project execution methods.
- Familiar with local construction codes, materials, and technical standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Able to work in dynamic environments with multiple contractors and teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Having a valid Iraqi Driving License.
