Are you a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with experience in high-end construction and utility infrastructure? Qaiwan Group is excited to announce a new opening for an Infrastructure Engineer to support the development of the prestigious Qaiwan Tourism Complex project. If you have a background in site development, utilities, drainage, and roadwork in large-scale hospitality or real estate projects—this opportunity is for you!
Role and Responsibilities:
A. Supervise execution of infrastructure works including roads, stormwater drainage, sewerage, water supply, electrical ducting, and telecom networks.
B. Coordinate with utility providers, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications.
C. Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements related to infrastructure works.
D. Oversee testing and commissioning of utility networks, including backfilling, compaction, and line pressure testing.
E. Monitor project schedules and ensure timely execution of underground and site development works.
F. Support in supervising structural elements such as retaining walls, culverts, foundations for utility structures, pump rooms, and structural platforms.
G. Review structural shop drawings and ensure alignment with architectural and MEP disciplines.
H. Conduct site inspections for formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, and post-pour evaluations.
I. Coordinate with structural consultants and main contractor to address technical discrepancies or modifications.
J. Ensure safety, quality, and compliance of structural activities in line with international and local standards.
K. Liaise with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project execution.
L. Prepare and maintain progress reports, site diaries, and as-built documentation.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
i. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related infrastructure discipline (required).
ii. 5–8 years of proven experience in infrastructure works for mixed-use, hospitality, or real estate developments.
iii. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project, and civil engineering software.
Required Skills:
1. Strong organizational and technical problem-solving abilities.
2. Excellent communication skills in English and Kurdish (Arabic is a plus).
3. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
4. Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and compliance.
