Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory, ensuring efficient storage practices, and maintaining accurate records.
- Receive and verify incoming products against purchase orders, specifications, and delivery notes
- Inspect all products to ensure correct quantities and quality
- Compare prices on delivery notes with purchase orders and initiate credit requests for discrepancies
- Properly store and organize products in designated areas
- Maintain and archive documentation accurately and efficiently
- Conduct monthly inventory counts and random stock checks
- Manage and track stock levels using inventory management systems
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for smooth operations
- Assist with special projects and other assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to structure daily tasks independently
- Physical ability to lift and move items as required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and team members
