Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and oversee the full spectrum of logistics operations in Iraq. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, optimizing, and supervising all logistics activities including transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and supply chain processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with NAI goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the logistics department, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
- Optimize the use of premises, fleet, equipment, and resources to maximize operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Plan, track, and oversee the shipment and delivery of vehicles and spare parts.
- Supervise logistics personnel, including drivers and warehouse teams, ensuring productivity and compliance with company policies.
- Manage inventory levels, warehouse organization, and order fulfillment to meet operational needs.
- Oversee the customs clearance process for containers and vehicles at various ports.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of purchase orders, shipping documents, and inventory logs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipments, inventory discrepancies, or delivery delays.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including stock movements, shipping details, and operational reports.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align supply chain plans with business demand.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal logistics policies.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and continuously improve performance metrics.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage logistics teams and operations.
- Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures and transport regulations in Iraq.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and logistics software.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in Arabic; proficiency in English is a strong asset.
