About the Job: The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with departments to determine purchasing needs and forecast requirements.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Purchasing & Order Processing:
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
- Track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Cost Control & Budget Management:
- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence to spending limits.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and service levels.
Required Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant or similar field.
- Knowledge : Very good presentation, collaboration, and attention to detail
- Languages: English, Arabic
