
Job Identification
We are looking for a Procurement Category Specialist who will be responsible for Implement procurement activities at Iraq procurement for Indirect categories (MRO, Chemicals, Spare Parts & Lab) to ensure lowest cost with highest quality and on time supply to support sustainable profitable growth in line with CCI Vision. under supervision of Legal Manager, located in Baghdad plant, Iraq
What We Expect
1. Support sourcing event drafts and contracting needs for category group at the regional level and according to procurement strategies determined by corporate;
2. Provide support to the Procurement Category Lead in strategy building, category analyses, market analysis, and category reporting to drive negotiations and supplier selection;
3. Support the execution of sourcing events within provided spend limits as determined at the corporate category group level.
4. Ensure all procurement activities to align with CCI policies, audit expectations, and countries' Legislation;
5. Maintain good utilization of the Procurement tools made available by CCI;
6. Develop and source alternatives to bring new local/global suppliers into the system, to engage in problems with suppliers such as quality, delivery, payments etc., create contingency plans.
7. Utilize reporting and analytics to drive key strategies and decisions for the category group;
8. Monitor industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Finance/Business Administration).
- English level upper-intermediate.
- Experience min 2 years.
- Multitasking, stress resistant, analytical skills, commodity knowledge
- Experience in procurement, min 2 years
- interview/qualification check in the company.
- Experience in a regional or global matrix organization.
- Experience in category management (commodity management) in the field of procurement.
- The "Procure to Pay" (P2P) process.
- Knowledge of the principles of sustainable supply (Supply Sustainability).
- Experience in working with ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting.
- Russian and English – UpperIntermediate and above.
- SAP (preferred) and other procurement programs.
- Confident use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI.
