Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the sales cycle by identifying tenders, developing technical proposals, and ensuring accurate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong client engagement skills, a deep technical understanding of ISP services, and the ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for proposals, services, training, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new tender opportunities from government and enterprise sectors that align with the company’s ISP offerings.
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their technical requirements and offer tailored internet and network solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers and government representatives through regular communication and technical guidance.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial proposals, tender documents, and quotations.
- Assist with contract negotiations by ensuring technical solutions are clearly defined and compliant with tender terms.
- Conduct product and service presentations, highlighting technical features, implementation benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Provide pre-sales consultations and after-sales technical support, including service deployment follow-up and client onboarding.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and client demos to support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to design custom solutions such as hybrid connectivity, dedicated circuits, satellite failovers, etc.
- Draft, edit, and maintain technical documentation including solution descriptions, proposals, service manuals, installation guides, SOPs, and training materials.
- Contribute to government tender responses by preparing technical sections, solution overviews, and compliance matrices.
- Translate complex technical concepts into structured and understandable written formats suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain documentation repositories with proper version control and alignment to branding and formatting standards.
- Support knowledge base creation for internal support teams and client self-service platforms (e.g., FAQs, troubleshooting guides).
- Assist marketing and sales with the creation of technical brochures, datasheets, and service briefs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of combined experience in Pre-Sales Engineering and Technical Writing in the ISP or telecom sector.
- Strong understanding of IP networks, BGP/OSPF routing, VPNs, SD-WAN, wireless, and fiber connectivity solutions.
- Proven experience with public sector tendering processes and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation platforms like Confluence or SharePoint.
- Familiarity with technical diagrams, network drawings, and proposal formatting.
