At Eni, we are seeking a Production Superintendent for the Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq. You will coordinate plant supervisors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all field production facilities.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum efficiency and availability of all production equipment.
- Monitor and control production parameters across all oil and gas processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Operate and monitor production facilities and wells.
- Demonstrate the ability to shut down and start up wells, flowlines and plant systems.
- Coordinate the daily activities of production operators.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
- Supervise chemical stock levels, injection processes and associated performance results.
- Provide operator input and feedback into maintenance programmes and production planning to minimise impact on output.
- Investigate opportunities for improvement or modification to enhance production processes and water injection performance.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to HSE by adhering to Eni and ZFOD policies and standards, ensuring safe operations and environmental care, and managing the preparation, validation, and monitoring of HSE permits to work.
Skills And Experience Required
- Degree or diploma in an engineering/technical discipline.
- Significant Oil & Gas Industry experience.
- Relevant production experience.
- Solid knowledge of oil and gas industry related production equipment & operations.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures and operations.
- Fluent in English.
- Data management and computer literacy.
