Key Goal:
We are seeking a commercial leader to join our executive team as Head of B2B. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our business-to-business strategy, focusing on merchant acquisition, enterprise partnerships, and strategic ecosystem growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in digital payments, a strong commercial mindset, and a proven ability to scale B2B operations in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company’s B2B growth strategy across key verticals (retail, food & beverage, logistics, e-commerce, and services).
- Design and implement scalable go-to-market plans to penetrate new segments and strengthen market positioning.
- Define clear targets and KPIs aligned with revenue, activation, and retention goals.
- Lead end-to-end merchant and enterprise acquisition, from prospecting to negotiation and closing high-value commercial agreements.
- Promote adoption of the company’s suite of solutions, including QR code payments, POS integration, online gateways, and API connectivity.
- Build and manage a pipeline of strategic partnerships that drive volume, increase wallet usage, and expand the merchant network.
- Oversee the merchant onboarding process including KYC, training, integration, and go-live coordination.
- Work closely with Product, Tech, and Compliance teams to ensure client needs are met with robust, compliant, and localized solutions.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the B2B lifecycle.
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing B2B sales and account management team.
- Foster a performance-driven culture with strong ownership, accountability, and commercial discipline.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes.
- Deliver regular performance reports and forecasts to the executive team.
- Translate data insights into actionable plans that improve sales productivity and client outcomes.

Education, Experience & Qualifications necessary to perform the job:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships — preferably within fintech, payments, telecom, or financial services.
Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English; Kurdish is a plus.

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record of closing large, complex deals.
- In-depth knowledge of digital payment products, merchant ecosystems, and technology integration (POS, QR, APIs).
- Proven success building and scaling high-performance teams in fast-paced environments.
