We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, supervise warehouse staff, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. This role is critical to supporting our real estate operations by ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
- Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment used in real estate projects
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular stock checks and audits
- Maintain organized warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of items
- Team Supervision:
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure productivity and accuracy
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety protocols
- Inventory Control:
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams to replenish supplies as needed
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to minimize discrepancies
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites
- Schedule and oversee the loading and unloading of goods
- Manage relationships with suppliers and transportation providers
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce costs
- Implement best practices for inventory management and warehouse operations
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in construction, real estate, or a related industry
- Proven experience in supervising a team
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts)
