We are looking for an HSE Superintendent for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Basra, Iraq - Onsite
Activities:
- HSE Superintendent Position for a Drilling Integrated Project in South Iraq:
- Responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining the project's HSE documentation and procedures.
- Responsible for distributing and communicating the project HSE documents and procedures to all rig locations.
- Communicating the bridging document requirements to rig contractors and all stakeholders.
- Acting as the HSE focal point for the client and rig contractor.
- Ensuring all personnel involved in the project are trained, qualified, and fully fit as per CLIENT standards.
- Responsible for creating the HSE activities calendar on a monthly basis and distributing it to rig sites accordingly and ensuring its implementation.
- Conducting contractors' pre-qualification HSE audits in conjunction with the supply chain.
- Responsible for implementing CLIENT HSE programs, training, and drills in the project.
- Preparing and sending the HSE reports, including statistics, on a monthly basis.
- Implementing and auditing PTW (Permit to Work) system.
- Providing the project KPI performance report to HSE managers.
- Maintaining and ensuring all personnel in the project achieve their personal HSE objectives.
- Organizing and providing training for CLIENT personnel and ensuring all rig training matrices are fulfilled and up to date.
- Managing a team of field HSE specialists on a day-to-day basis.
- Responsible for completing all CAT audits for the project as per the AAIP schedule.
- Updating and revising the ERP for the project and ensuring it is communicated to the project's team.
- Collecting and reporting man-hours and mileage data monthly and ensuring it is updated in the CLIENT system.
- Responsible for maintaining and quality control for the project's event reporting node, including meetings, audits, and incident report closures.
- Investigating HSE accidents and incidents, and providing up-to-date status to CLIENT management and the client.
- Monitoring the project's HSE performance metrics.
- Identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensuring the HSE recognition program is implemented.
- Overseeing environmental compliance as per CLIENT standards, including updates and site exit/entry surveys in CLIENT system.
- Collaborating with the client for site visits, audits, and management reviews.
- Attending the client's monthly workshops and meetings.
- Actively involved in daily operation meetings with CLIENT and the client.
- The HSE Superintendent reports directly to the Division HSE Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong HSE background, with deep knowledge of HSE processes.
- Strong safety culture with evident leadership skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English is a must. Spoken/written Arabic is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills to manage a team of 8-10 HSE Field Specialists across 4-5 rigs.
