One of Toyota’s authorized dealers in Najaf is looking for a Accountant with below requirements:
Main Tasks:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
- Controlling and recording income and expenditure.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
- Additional to above mentioned tasks, there will be additional responsibility in other areas of Finance and Accounting as per business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles for mid-level positions.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficient in excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
- Ability to manage tasks, guide junior staff, and meet deadlines.
