One of Toyota’s authorized dealers in Najaf is looking for a Cashier with below requirements:
Main Tasks:
- Handle daily cash transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Receive and disburse payments for goods or services while ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintain daily cash register balance, count cash at beginning and end of shifts, and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare and record cash and bank transactions in the system or manual registers.
- Reconcile cash and receipts against system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the finance team in tracking income and expenditure at the point of sale.
- Maintain financial and transactional records for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling.
- Assist in implementing and following cash control procedures to prevent discrepancies or losses.
- Provide excellent customer service, respond to queries, and resolve billing issues as needed.
- Coordinate with accounting staff for smooth financial operations and report cash-related concerns.
- Ensure security of cash and financial data through careful handling and regular backup (if system-based).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in cash handling or cashier roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in systems and basic MS Excel or accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Good numerical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
- Trustworthy, organized, and able to follow cash control procedures.
