About the Role:
BYD Baghdad is seeking a Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions while delivering excellent customer service that reflects BYD’s standards and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and ensure a smooth and professional checkout experience
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate cash records and daily reports
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide support at the front desk when required
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus)
- Previous cashier or accounting/finance experience is preferred
- Strong numerical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
