Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Baghdad. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining records of assets, liabilities, profit, and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities. Daily tasks include preparing budgets, examining financial statements for accuracy, managing financial systems, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to support overall financial health and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience in preparing financial reports, budgeting, and financial analysis
Expertise in financial record-keeping, internal audits, and ensuring accuracy in financial statements
Proficiency in accounting software, financial management, and regulatory compliance
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are advantageous
