Job Purpose:
The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, maintaining cash registers, and providing professional and friendly service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments (cash, card, and other methods) accurately and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change when necessary.
- Maintain cash register records and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide a high standard of service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Assist in daily financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of honesty, responsibility, and professionalism.
- Basic computer skills (POS systems experience is a plus).
- Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic, and English is preferred.
