MILE is a leading environmental NGO in Iraq, working on climate adaptation, water resource protection, and community-based environmental recovery.
Role Purpose
The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer will ensure effective monitoring, reporting, and accountability for MILE’s Project Vanguard, working closely with the project team and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks and tools.
- Collect, verify, and analyze project data.
- Track progress on project indicators and prepare M&E reports.
- Support baseline, midline, and endline surveys.
- Conduct field monitoring visits to project sites.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
- Support feedback and complaints mechanisms to ensure accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Development Studies, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in M&E, preferably with NGOs.
- Strong knowledge of data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with donor-funded projects (DANIDA/DCA preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
