Job Purpose
The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations in compliance with pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring proper dispensing of raw materials and packaging components, preparing and implementing SOPs, and
supporting day-to-day warehouse activities to maintain accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute dispensing activities for raw materials and packaging components as per SOPs, GMP, and safety requirements.
- Prepare, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to warehouse operations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all warehouse transactions (receipts, issues, returns, and dispensing records).
- Monitor material movement and storage conditions to ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Production, and Procurement for smooth material flow.
- Conduct line clearance, labeling, and proper identification of materials before dispensing.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations meet regulatory and company requirements for pharmaceutical storage and handling.
- Participate in periodic stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Support in audits (internal and external) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Train warehouse staff in dispensing procedures, safety, and SOP adherence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Supply chain or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment.
- Good knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements .
- Experience in dispensing and handling of raw materials/packaging components is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/WMS systems is advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
