About the Role
This is more than a management position — it’s an opportunity to build and lead the DDK Kids Club from the very beginning. As the founding Kids Club Manager, you will create, organize, and oversee all aspects of the club’s operations. From hiring and training staff to designing educational and recreational programs, you will shape the standards, culture, and daily experience of the club.
You will work closely with senior management to ensure the Kids Club operates safely, efficiently, and in line with Shahan Tower’s hospitality standards, providing a trusted and joyful environment for children and families alike.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Operations
- Plan, launch, and manage the Kids Club from inception.
- Design and implement structured programs balancing fun, creativity, learning, and rest.
- Select and source learning materials, and equipment suitable for different age groups.
- Ensure child-friendly, healthy, and allergy-conscious snack offerings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and supervise a dedicated team of caregivers and activity leaders.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure consistent service and safety standards.
- Foster a positive, cooperative, and creative team culture.
Safety, Communication & Reporting
- Uphold the highest standards of child safety, security, and hygiene.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and management.
- Prepare and submit regular weekly reports and insights on club operations and activities.
- Stay updated with modern, innovative teaching and play-based learning methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Early Childhood Education, Childcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in childcare, early education, or similar settings.
- Professional fluency in English, Arabic, and Kurdish (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certified in First Aid / Child Safety (or willing to obtain within probation period).
- Creative, patient, and energetic, with a demonstrated ability to build trust with children and families.
- Highly organized, responsible, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
