Job Title: Technician
Location: Basra – Lexus
About the Job:
The Technician is responsible for carrying out quick repairs and simple mechanical, bodywork, electrical repairs, or painting on a timely basis to a quality standard.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools & testing equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including gears, belts, bearings, valves, motors & pumps.
- Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Requisition parts materials as needed for repair and maintenance.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma certificate (Preferred Technical Field)
- 2-3 years in a reputed automotive workshop
- Adaptability to change, effective communication, teamwork, result orientation, and professional passion.
- English, Arabic (Mandatory) (English speaking intermediate acceptable)
