Job description
Support commissioning and start-up activities related to telecom systems on the onshore oil & gas project. Work with the commissioning team to prepare, test, and hand over telecom systems safely and on time.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in commissioning of telecom systems (such as PAGA, CCTV, telephone, radio, LAN/WAN, fiber optics, and access control).
- Perform point-to-point checks, configuration, and functional tests of telecom equipment.
- Support troubleshooting and adjustments during commissioning of telecom networks and devices.
- Follow commissioning procedures and instructions from supervisors.
- Document commissioning activities and test results for telecom systems.
- Respect HSE rules and ensure safe working conditions.
- Support punch list activities and handover of telecom systems to operations.
Profile
Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in telecom maintenance or commissioning in oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of telecom systems (PAGA, CCTV, radio, fiber optics, network switches, etc.).
- Ability to read telecom block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to safety.
